CAPS: Counseling and Psychological Services
“Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) is a multidisciplinary student mental health center for the UCLA campus. Our services are designed to foster the development of healthy well-being necessary for success in a complex global environment.”
CARE: Campus Assault Resources & Education
“Campus Assault Resources & Education (CARE) is a safe place for student survivors of sexual assault, dating and domestic violence, and stalking to get support, consultation, and to have a confidential place to talk. You can get help without formally reporting an assault or requesting formal treatment. CARE also provides trauma-informed yoga to survivors as well as awareness and prevention education to the campus community. Custom workshops and trainings are offered on a variety of topics related to sexual violence.”
Arthur Ashe Student Health & Wellness Center
“Our comprehensive services include Primary Care, Women’s Health, Immunizations, Travel Medicine, Physical Therapy, Specialty Clinics, Radiology & Laboratory, and Acupuncture & Massage – all under one roof!
The Ashe Center also offers free toothpaste, toothbrushes, condoms, and feminine products on the various floors.”
UCLA LGBT Resource Center
“The UCLA LGBT Campus Resource Center has proudly been serving the UCLA community for 20 years. We provide a comprehensive range of education and advocacy services supporting intersectional identity development as well as fostering unity, wellness, and an open, safe, and inclusive environment for UCLA’s LGBTQ community. The LGBTCRC affirms folks of all sexual and gender identities and serves the entire UCLA community – undergraduate students, graduate students, faculty, staff, and alumni. Economic Crisis & Response Team (ECRT)
“The Economic Crisis Response Team (ECR TEAM) provides support and guidance to students who have self-identified, or are identified by UCLA faculty or staff, as experiencing a financial crisis that impacts their academic success at UCLA. We aim to efficiently, compassionately and discreetly:
1) Provide a seamless and individualized response to UCLA students in extraordinary financial crisis.
2) Develop proposals for actions to examine (and revise, when appropriate) university policies and office protocols in order to improve students’ ability to manage their financial situations and avoid economic crisis.”

Consultation & Response Team (CRT)
“UCLA’s Consultation & Response Team (CRT) is a group of professional staff members charged with responding to reports of students who may be in distress. This team is comprised of representatives from key campus departments, such as The College, Dean of Students, Counseling and Psychological Services, Residential Life, and the UCLA Police Department.”
Discrimination Prevention Office
“DPO investigates reports of discrimination or harassment based on race, national origin, religion, age, and other categories protected by law and University policy. Typically, we investigate complaints brought by any member of the community (for example, students, staff or faculty) against faculty members. In certain cases, DPO also investigates complaints brought against entities or individuals who are not faculty.”
ADA/504 Compliance Office
“The UCLA Chancellor’s 504 Compliance Office (since 1992 the Chancellor’s ADA & 504 Compliance Office) was created in 1986 by Chancellor Charles Young. Its continuing mission is to (1) coordinate and monitor campus compliance with requirements of Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 as amended, the provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990; (2) provide guidance and evaluate efforts to improve access to campus facilities and programs; (3) develop procedures to identify and correct access deficiencies;”
