Introduction to CSC’s Resource Guide
Welcome to the Community Service Commission’s Guide to Service!
CSC developed this resource guide to empower you at every stage in your service journey. Whether you’re just starting out and looking for organizations on campus or in the community to get involved or a veteran service volunteer looking to expand your knowledge and capacity for service, this guide is for you!
This guide is split into three parts. Section 1 is a regularly updated database of service organizations on campus, featuring a brief description of their work and their contact information, as well as recommendations from current service volunteers. Section 2 of the resource guide features step-by-step guides and infographics on how to get involved in service. Finally, Section 3 is all about furthering and expanding your service journey. This section features an introduction to ethical service and an exploration of the connection between advocacy and service.
