IMPACT Conference

IMPACT Conference

The IMPACT National Conference is historically the largest national gathering of student leaders, administrators, faculty, and nonprofit staff committed to engaging college students in service, activism, politics, advocacy, and other socially responsible work. This annual conference builds on the legacy of the student service and civic engagement movement. The IMPACT National Conference, Inc. builds on the foundations of the Collegiate Outreach Opportunity League (COOL) and Idealist on Campus who both hosted annual national conferences for students engaged in community service and civic engagement spanning an incredible history of over three decades.

Every year, CSC opens up applications for students to be part of our delegation. As part of the CSC delegation, you will have access to over 90 workshops, various opportunities to learn about effective practices, improve personal skills and organizational strategies, discover resources, exchange stories, and be inspired. This conference is open to all students.

In 2026, CSC sent a delegation of 15 UCLA students to the University of Cincinnati from February 19th–22nd, who attended a variety of workshops, including “From Awareness to Advocacy: Neurodiversity Advocate Training” and “The ENGAGER Model: A Community-Centered Framework for Social Impact.” CSC was tasked with planning the logistics and itinerary of the entire trip, and our Service Education Directors also created and facilitated their own workshop titled “Post with Purpose: Ethical Storytelling in Community Service Marketing.”
