Promoting college-bound culture, the arts and sciences, and the pursuit of higher education for kids from underserved parts of Los Angeles.

Project Bruin takes place during spring quarter as an end-of-year event for our projects that work with youth. The kids are invited to UCLA campus to spend a day participating in activities run by UCLA student groups. The aim of the event is to encourage these kids to consider college, since many of them would be first generation students.

The event is organized by our Internal Programs committee, and activities are planned by campus student groups. In past years, students groups have performed, done science experiments, and played sports with the kids.
