Spend a day engaging in service, and find out how to get involved with both campus and community organizations!

Every year, Day of Service takes hundreds of UCLA students to over ten community partner sites in the LA area. We work with community partners focusing on many issues, including the environment and sustainability, poverty and homelessness, food injustice, education, and animal rights.
Volunteers spend several hours doing active service work, learning about the community and the organization, and discussing the underlying issues and impact. On returning to UCLA, students have the opportunity to enjoy lunch, performances by student arts groups, and participate in a reflection on service. Day of Service aims to provide students a chance to engage with a community and issue through service, and inspire students to pursue further involvement in service and social justice.

What we provide:

  • Transportation to and from campus
  • Breakfast, lunch, and snacks
  • Bag, water bottle, and T-shirt
  • Resources on how to get involved
  • A super awesome day!
