Asian American Tutorial Project

“The Asian American Tutorial Project is an all-student run joint tutoring organization between USC, UCLA, and Occidental. Since our establishment in 1969, members of AATP have served as both tutors and mentors to the children of Castelar Elementary School in Los Angeles Chinatown such that they are equipped and inspired to pursue a higher education. We give the Project’s members an opportunity to interact with the children one-on-one in both academic and recreational aspects. Our vision is to provide an excellent learning experience and to aid the children of Castelar in the pursuit of their goals and dreams. AATP welcomes anyone who is dedicated and loves kids to join. We guarantee this to be a truly rewarding experience not only for your tutee, but for yourself as well.”
